Covid-19 Response Plan

Our Organisation’s Covid-19 Response Plan

As an organisation, we are committed to the safety and well-being of all of our participants and their families.

We are proactive in our response to the Covid-19 pandemic, taking our direction from SA Health and we are actively working to ensure the safety of our participants, families and staff by keeping up-to-date with the ever changing government regulations and implementing them as directed.

Participant family members and guardians are welcome to visit them at our respite houses, however we would encourage you to call ahead and not visit if you have any symptoms or have a positive Covid-19 result. Please wear a mask, sign in using the QR codes located on all of our houses and maintain good hand hygiene practices.

Please inform Management if you are a close contact or have a positive covid-19 test result, so that appropriate measures can be taken to ensure the safety of all concerned.

For participants in our respite and day options programs, as part of our Covid-19 response plan, staff and participants are ensuring that they are maintaining and actively contributing to the highest level of cleaning in line with the Covid regulations e.g. wiping surfaces, door handles etc every 2 hours. Our staff are also following all recommended regulations around the use of PPE e.g. wearing masks, gloves and gowns in high risk environments.
